Birthday Lunch!

Despite our group pact to start bringing our lunches instead of going out so much (which was MY idea), I neglected to bring a lunch today. I asked if anyone else would go somewhere with me, but they'd all brought lunches. duh. So I said that was fine and I'd walk to the deli by myself (and I really meant that it was fine; I wasn't upset), but instead Joel, Allycia, Barb, and Adriene walked down with me. YAY! Despite the horrible traffic this morning, and what I'm going through at work with my own site and my poor little JX site, I'm having a pretty good day so far. :)

101!!!

Oh my gosh...I hit 100 posts, and I was going to be all like, "yeah! I've had 100 posts!" and I totally let the opportunity pass, and I didn't even notice. But now I have 101 posts! Woo! 101 posts in almost 3 years' time is pretty pathetic though. But at least it's not as bad as my livejournal.

Okay, so the purpose of this post is to plug another awesome band. Their sound is completely different than Arctic Monkeys (more pop/electronica) but it's still very good, and their latest EP has some rapping bits that remind me of the Streets. OMG Ai, that's not the guy from The Streets, is it?!? It's probably not him, but still. It's really good!!! Anyway, they have (and have had, since January apparently) an EP available on iTunes, so if you want to have a listen, check it out here. Word. And good night. :)
